IUPAT District Council 17 is committed to ensuring that all members working for signatory contractors have access to up-to-date health and safety training. Our goal is to protect workers, raise industry standards, and meet the specific requirements of job sites across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Territories.
Training is offered in-house, online, and through trusted third-party providers. To enroll in any course or inquire further, please contact: Training@dc17.ca

For non-oil sands commercial construction, Standard training is typically sufficient. Not sure which you need? Reach out to training@dc17.ca.

WHMIS 2015
WHMIS 2015 incorporates the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and replaces WHMIS 1988. Members should ensure they are familiar with both systems, as many sites still recognize both.
